Management Training Program

Join our competitive management training program that sets you on the path to run your own location.

Our management training program teaches top candidates every skill for every job in each facet of our fast-paced, profitable industry. We take you into the heart of what we do through a five phase, 2 to 3 year structured rotational program that’s tailored to meet your learning needs and set you up with all the tools to successfully manage your own location.

Having such a well rounded management training program prepares each individual not only with the knowledge base of products and functionality of the profit centers, but also with customer service skills, networking, and even time management that is necessary for our future success.

Warehouse Training

Duration: 6 Weeks

Start on the bustling ground floor as you get to know the CED team and our products. You’ll learn how to safely operate equipment, ship and receive inventory, process paperwork, handle back orders and organize a warehouse.

Counter Sales Training

Duration: 6 months

This phase focuses on revving up your product knowledge while developing your customer service skills. You will dive deeper into understanding product application and work at the forefront of our business.

Operations Training

Duration: 4-6 weeks

Learn what happens behind the scenes to allow CED products to touch every home, business and development property in the country. You'll learn the ins and outs of our credit office, service center and administration.

Customer Service Training

Duration: 8 months

Inside Sales: Relationships are critical to this business, so we'll arm you with techniques to master phone sales and joint calls with outside salespeople. We'll teach you how to interpret blueprints, understand job project management and to bid and quote jobs. Purchasing: You'll learn how purchasing decisions are made and executed, as well as controlling inventory, write downs, and supplier returns.

Outside Sales Training

Duration: roughly 12 months

In the final phase of CED's training program, you'll be in the field, incorporating everything you've learned to build contacts, make sales and grow market share. By the time you graduate from the program, you'll understand how to capitalize on the skills and resources you've developed.
